Becoming Invisible on Facebook

    Hey,

There is one particular person on my Facebook friends list which I would like to appear as invisible to.

Deleting this person isn't an option (for reasons I won't go into).

I did go to the chat box and created an "invisible list" and added this person to it, but when we are online at the same time, they can see I am online, which I don't want.

I know there is the option to go offline, but I don't want that.:o

    Thanks for any help.

With that inidividual list you've created just for this person, you can offline and still online for the rest of your contacts/lists. Just click the little green button on the list.

Tried this and this person can still send me messages on the chat box.:(

That shouldn't be the case...clicking the offline/online capsule-shaped buttons can be a bit temperamental, but if you've put the person into a list they should appear in that list and when you click 'go offline' they indicator should go dark...does this happen?

    Yes, this happens.

The person in question was online earlier (same time as me) but didn't msg me (so I'm assuming the can't see I'm online?).

Yep that's right, if you have them in a list which is switched to offline they can't see you.
