recently bought an asus motherboard and processor bundle and the motherboard that came with it was different from the one advertised on the outside of the box. for instance the box claimed 4 memory slots and 4 sata ports but the motherboard that came in the box only had 2 of each. is this false advertising and what can i do about it? can i contact asus directly and ask that they sent me the correct motherboard?
    all help appreciated,
    thanks

Your contract is with the shop who sold you this item.

My first port of call would be there.

I presume this would come under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act as the product you received is not as described. Start with whoever you bought it from and see what they have to say.

my only problem is is that this was the last model at the shop i got it and i got it at quite a goood deal, so i would prefer to have the actual motherboard i should have gotten rather than just my money back....
