I'd suggest removing all record of the connection and reconfiguring it as a new one.

Does it fail to connect completely, or does it just ask for the WPA key every time you restart the machine. Any chance you have two access points for the same network?
Are you using the linux driver for the wireless, or did you see the word ndiswrapper when you were setting it up? (That wraps the windows driver to use on linux).

One thing to try is restarting the netbook completely, as this can sometimes
happen when returing from suspend. This can also happen if you start up with wireless disabled by the switch and then turn it on.

This sometimes happens with network manager and it's kind of annoying. Usually logging out and logging in again fixes it, sometimes I have had to reboot the router.

If you have no joy with getting it working, there is an alternative network manager called wicd which you can install and use that to manage your wireless connections, it's often more solid and stable.
