Dublin to Peterborough - how do i book?

    Hi everyone.

I am trying to get to Peterborough (England), from Dublin, in the morning.

A lot of the transport companies offer the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead, tomorrow, departing Dublin Ferry Port at around 8.05am, i need the travel to include sail and rail (so to speak). I need a ticket which includes everything, to get me to Peterborough train station.

The problem i have is that i can apparently pre order tickets for collection at Connolly Bus Station, however, i will not be leaving from Waterford until 19.30 tonight, therefore will get into Connolly Station, after the ticket office has closed for the day.

Does anyone have any advice on what i can do to make sure i am able to get the tickets to travel tomorrow, please?

For some reason, it wont let me order online.

I did notice the other night, when i arrived at Dublin Bus Station, that there are 'ticket machines', are they for bus tickets, or would they allow me to book from the bus station or Connolly, to go all the way to Peterborough?

I didnt know if i would have to go to the Ferry Port when i arrive in Dublin tonight, to actually get the tickets for the morning booked, as it seems the only way, at the moment, and of course, the information desk will be closed when i get there tonight.

Any further help/advice/information, would be great.

    Thank you.

Go to Waterford train station, ask for a single from Waterford to Peterborough and you will be issued with one, board train to Dublin. Or go to Dublin and buy ticket at ferry terminal on day of

There are no seat reservations possible and none needed as the ferry and trains are normally very quiet

Would be quicker go via Rosslare, overnight on ferry onwards to London

Get 1630 bus from Waterford to Wexford (bus 40) then change to bus 002 (leaves Wexford at 1820). Ferry to Fishguard at 2115.
