Money is tight. You need money :P What would you do? It can be anything.

    I'll get the ball rolling:

Rent new dvd's and copy them ... then sell them the copies as originals, lol. :D

    Continue ... ( :P )

Well... there are some people who collect the dole and do a side-line nixer, hell some people who have a job also do the same. So in this hypothetical thread I guess its not so much about "situation" just if you were to go out there and earn a bit more ... albeit on the side or legally :P

    :(
so the day of the door-2-door dvd pirated salesman is dead :( *cries*

If i sold every piece of unwanted/finished with, stuff i have lying in the house i reckon i could make enough money to get me through a few weeks.
Will probably try this before the summer, friend getting married in Poland and not a hope of paying for it out of wages.

I read in another thread that the Irish passport earns a hefty sum on the black market, only problem there is I don't know where this black market they speak of is or how to go about the sale. I'm sure I would manage it if things got that bad.

    5 Euros.....Love you long time...

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

I was actually working for a very well known place on o'connell street in 2008. In the cash room they had examples of forged notes people managed to slip by unnoticed but got spotted at the end of the night when the tills were counted.

Various notes - tenners, fivers, fifties ... one tenner looked class especially considering it was printed on regular paper. One 50 in particular was so badly printed (running low on ink when printed kinda style) that it was so obviously a fake. Still managed to get through

I've already got two jobs so getting another isn't really an option. Probably look for a better 'second' job.

A friend of mine sent me a link to the jobs section of the FAS website a while back.

There was a advert looking for people to apply for the position of "Private Detective".

It read, "Private Detective required. Must have own surveillance equipment and transport. Some experience essential".

Bizarre. Didn't see any ads for assassins though.

I've seen alot of private dective courses advertised. Usually in the back of a newspaper. Sounds dodgy to me. Like 300 (or what ever) for a 2 day course.

I remember watching an RTE documentary on private dectives about 2-3 years ago. The bulk of their work was just staking out someones house or work to hand them a legal letter. aka serve them. lol.

I imagine they must get alot of partners "employing" them on suspicion of cheating aswell tho. But geez, anyone could tho that tho right? be hired to "follow" someone and take pictures.

What would you do? if yo son was at home,
crying all alone on the bedroom floor, cuz he's hungry
and the only way to feed him is to sleep wit a man
for a little bit of money, and his daddy's gone
somewhere smokin rock now, in and out of lock down,
I aint gotta job now, so for you this is just a good time
but for me this is what I call life (Come on)
