Will more than likely be going to Sonar in Barcelona this summer, and wanted to find out information on other festivals around this little place we call Earth that have a distinctly Electro feel to them.

I'm sure you good people here in EM&DJing know a few to recommend/poo-poo.

There's Life on during May which is supposed to be good and there's Creamfields in England, very commercial though from what I've heard.

Went to the Monegros Desert festival in Spain 2 years ago, quality lineup and very diverse. Unique to say the least, a good hours drive away from any sort of civilisation, it took us 3 and a half hours to get there from Barcelona.

No confirmation as to any lineup but it was a very good festival overall, recommended.

Is it still just a one-dayer though? Bit of a hassle just for 12 odd hours!

It's 24 hours, but we made a week out of it, had a look at what Barcelona had to offer in the meantime. By the end it felt a lot longer than any day I've experienced :D

Im seriously tempted with Glade this year. The line-up isnt out this year but of the last few years are anything to go by itll be brilliant. It got cancelled last year because the organisers were getting undue hassle from the police so hopefully they'll have ironed out all that for this year.

£143 is a bit steep in comparison to festivals on the mainland. That's the only negative aspect.

I'm doing Glade and Bangface a month before. Should be good. The silly season starts this weekend...

my mate was on about Liberty White. Although I like hardtechno, that would be a bit too much. There's no variety there.

I don't think they've left anyone from the dubtep/bass music scene out!
