I felt like sharing a short documentary we've just produced as part of our course in college: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p15CYUqBhpY

Backstory: The Salthill air show ran for years, drawing thousands of people to Galway. The last time it ran was in 2007, it was later cancelled due to funding issues, partly because of anti-war protests from the Galway Alliance Against War. We interviewed Mayor Michael Crowe and Niall Farrell of the GAAW about it. Shot in one day on mini-DV, no budget, edited on Final Cut Pro. Stay until after the credits.

    Enjoy!

michael crowe is of extraordinary low intelligence, or atleast pretends to be stupid enough to think that GAAW hurt the Air show much easier then acknowledge it wasn't financially viable, the GAAW only played a very very small part in any consequences for the closing of the air show, they're just very hard to keep going financially, the whole premise of your film is a falsehood, the use of music shows your trying to make more of this MC vs GAAW then there was.

    i agree with the above.

The GAAW had nothing to do with the airshow ending, the organisers couldnt get the financial support to continue the show.
Your film makes it look like they did!

I didn't like it. It didn't document the Salthill Air Show. All it was was two talking heads and some archive footage.
