    Hey Folks,
As you can see from the title i'm looking for some info in regards this particular piece of plastic. I was driving home this evening and hit a rock on the road which broke off a chunk of the plastic underneath the car. Luckily it didnt do anymore damage ie sump and such like.
Anyway i'm a wee bit stupid when it come to things like this so my question is is it really important as when i was looking underneath it seems there was other little bits broken off and 2nd can you buy tis particular part.
    It a Peugeot 407 2007.
Thanks for taking the time to read this

The sump on most cars is made out of fairly soft metal and is easily damaged. If the plastic guard wasn't there you could have possibly damaged your sump and lost oil or the rock could have done no harm. Unless it's really badly damaged I'd just leave it and not worry about it.

The part can be gotten from a main dealer or you may be lucky and find one in a breakers, but that could be as bad as the one you have.
