My Iphone is droppping calls intermittantley. Might be fine for a whole day or 2 and then the next day most calls would fail during conversation no matter where I am so the fault is not location specific. I brought it back to the vodafone store to have it sent off for a 48hr pre test and it came back with no fault found. But of course as soon as I started using it again the same thing was happening. Anyone else have this problem? Do I need a new micro sim? The phone is only 1 month old.

It doesnt matter what hand you use. If you bridge the gap between the 2 antennae then the signal will be cut. Are you using a case of some sort? Maybe buy a bumper. There is a guy on adverts selling original Apple ones for €10

yeah I have a case around it but I also used it without the case and get the same problem. Might see if the vodafone store will give me a bumper free for my troubles. Will a bumper really help?

If it still happens with a case then no a bumper probably wont work. Im out of ideas as to what it could be. Maybe the coverage is just bad in your areas? Does the signal go when you get the dropped call or do you have full bars?
