    Hi
Anyone suffer from fallen arches? I'm looking to get a pair of arch supports that I can use running. Suffered with fallen arches all my life & orthotics is out of the question financially at the moment.
I use Asics Kayano's & they are great for stability but I need a bit extra support these days
Any recommendations would be great - thanks

What about off replacing the insoles in your runners with off the shelf orthotics,
    like these.

Try mizuno wave alchemy they are a good motion control runner, they offer more support than the kaynos

I have raised-arches, and have been suffereing from a pain in my left heel for a few months now.

I think I have Plantar Fascitis, and need to get decent supports, so I'll check these links out too.

    Thanks..

The new Asics Gel 2160 is a great supportive shoe. It has slightly less gel than the Kayano, but the reduction in the gel gives a more structured feel to the runner, the new model also has increased memory foam around the ankle which traps the heel in place to give more stability to the foot.

Could be worth a try if you like Asics runners and want to stay with them. There is also the Gel Evolution or Foundation but they are both motion control shoes, depending on your level of over pronation you might not need so much support.

I use Kayanos with off the shelf orthotics I bought in Boots. I tried a few different sets and the best have been ones made out of foam, which I guess happen to fit very well. about 20 euros.
