what is the best kind of tea pot to get if I want it to retain heat well over time? i have a metal one atm but the tea cools down too fast, i'd much rather make the pot and then drink it slowly as opposed to being pressured to gulp it down as fast as possible.

does it even matter? I suppose a tea cosy would keep it warm enough

Denby range are good (in that I can recommend from experience)...only thing though is that I'm always afraid it will fall and break...Silver teapots (EPNS) are better than plain metal ones at holding in the heat...

A silver teapot amkes the nicest tea and it doesn;t stew if you leave it on the heat.

I find that pottery tea pots are quite good at keeping the heat, and pottery tea cups are the same..and look so pretty! :)
