    Fianna Fail have not yet held their selection convention. Many rumours floating around regarding John Browne's intentions and also whether Lisa McDonald will make it onto the ticket. Also questions around Sean Connicks intentions to run as Independent. Although most likely John Browne and Sean Connick will be the two who will go forward.


    How I think it will finish up;


    1 : Paul Kehoe (FG)
    2 : Brendan Howlin (LAB)
    3 : John Browne (FF)
    4 : Micheal D'Arcy (FG)
    5 : Anthony Kelly (SF)

    Anthony Kelly to make the breakthrough at the expense of Fianna Fail. John Browne very strong position in Fianna Fail nationally and strong traditional reputation going back years for being able to get things done locally so he will hold onto his seat. Connick to lose out.
