I'm not really familiar with beaches in Dublin. I'm looking to collect some drift wood. Which beaches in Dublin would be the best ones to look around?

Dollymount is good i walk there everyday and I always see interesting bits and pieces, However the beach is swept during the summer months and you'd have to be there early to be there before the sweepers start. I seen a huge hunk of wood there once that would ave made a fantastic bench I still regret not arranging someone to collect it for me.

Loughshinny beach might be a good choice

Dollymount is a good start. Burrow Beach in Sutton, just past the DART Station, is also worth a look.
