I am installing a multi fuel stove in front of an existing fireplace. Has anyone done this. I have no idea what to do with the space at the back once I pull out the fireplace. I will be leaving the wooden surround. It is a fairly large stove about 25" wide. Has anyone done this. I would appreciate advice or picture if some one has done this before. I suppose I need to extend the hearth but not sure how that will look.
