I got a 3v card on the 24th December. The expiry was 02/11, but I was under the impression this meant until the very end of february. Now I'm after getting an email from Paypal saying my card is about to expire and if paypal doesn't work with it I can't use it anywhere. What do I do? :(

That costs quite a bit its cheaper to set up a second paypal address and email the balance to that account.

My credit card is expiring at the end of February but got that e-mail from Paypal. They just seem to inform you well in advance of the expiration of the card but it will still remain valid until the end of next month.

If the exp date on the voucher is feb you have until the end of feb to use it. Paypal are just giving you a warning. It's not up to them to decide if the exp date on your card is valid or not, that's down to 3v, and they put febuary on it, so it's still valid until the end of february. If you're still unsure just go to 3V themselves and see what you can do, but I'd be fairly certain you're fine!

they are a complete joke 3V dont know how any one still uses them their charges are through the roof, the voucher have very short lifespans, ive lost alot off small amounts that were left on vouchers but they all add up.
i only used them for online buying mainly ebay but switched to the O2 moneycard and have never looked backed

I used to use 3v cards as well but gave it up due to cost and short expire dates. I was a big fan of them. Thankfully the tsb issued visa debit around the same time.

I do way more shopping online with it which really is probably not a good thing.
