Bradley looks in fantastic shape, he also won the staredown for me. Alexander has weird arm muscles, they pop out in an odd shape.

Grant suit defencive fighters who like to cover up as i think they are a little bigger. Winky wright uses them alot. Not sure about everlasts.

    anticlimatic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,972 ✭✭✭joepenguin

A lot of fighters woulda fought through that but he prob thought he would have lost anyway.

    Bradley is a class act.

that was an anti climax, was a poor fight if truth be told and neither man looked impressive

Alexander took the risk, and I think the result was fair enough. I think Bradley looked fast enough and clever enough to give Khan serious trouble.

Aside from the use of his head. Anyway it was a terrible fight.

He's certainly strong enough to impose himself on Khan and had a good chin to take anything Khan throws at him. Still if Khan drops the approach he adopted in the Maidiana fight, and sticks to boxing, i think he has the skill to win on points.

Exactly though I thought he was fighting well so don't understand it really... was pretty close.

Yeah just watched it again this morning. Head def hit on the other side of Alexanders face & nowhere near the cut.
Gota agree that it was anticlimatic

I was hoping to watch this fight at some stage today instead of staying up all night. Has anyone got a link to watch the re-showing or highlights of it today on Sky,or any other channel?

Alexander didn't show anything to me to suggest he's anything more than the hype job I thought he was. When he was crying off over the clash of heads I was happy to see him loose, there's no heart or warrior in him, you expect more from a champion.

As for Bradley, he did well but I still think Khan beats him, hopefully that fight happens soon. Khan has more power than Devon, lands more meaningful shots and is quicker and slicker.

There's no doubt in my mind that Khan beats Bradley, Khan just has so many natural advantages in that fight: He has the guts of 4 inches on him, the fastest hands and feet in boxing right now, far more power, he's much more accurate with his shots, slicker and he has the world's best trainer in his corner. The only possible problem I see him having is that big bucket head of Bradley's - how many straight opponents has he cut with it now again?

I think Maidana beats him too actually: They both fight on the inside, they're both come forward guys, the difference is that Maidana is possibly Boxing's P4P hardest hitter, whiel Timmy has Paulie Malignaggi-esque power. I see Chino stopping him in the mid to late rounds tbh

Anyway, speaking of Maidana, is the plan for him to fight Devon still on? Couldn't say I'd blame Alexander for pulling out of that one

Khan is definitely faster, and has fast feet but Bradley is definitely more accurate than him. I was actually impressed with the pressure Bradley put on Alexander but I think Khan's handspeed and build will be the determining factor.

Have to disagree here. Khan averages in the 40%'s. Against Maidana, by far the toughest fight of his career, he reached 60%. Bradley averages high 20's/low 30's
