The cups still have plenty of magic for the majority of (smaller/medium) clubs and their supporters even if it's probably an inconvenience to the three or four top clubs in England which obviously means yes: it should be scrapped immediately.

it didn't have to be the FA Cup to be magic back in the day, remember all the family hoppin off the Sunday roast just in time for 'The Match',

sometimes when i think back to my childhood so many memories are in some way linked to football
i remember going straight out to the green after Keith Houchen(spell?)scored his diving header,we were all taking turns trying it,class stuff

Chelsea going for 3 in a row so I don't think they see it that way

Disappointed that Villa/Rovers is not on live today. Both teams are on the up at the minute with new players having come in recently to both squads. Neither team plays hoofball either.

Why doesn't any Irish Radio station get the rights for the FA cup? I only have FM receiver on my phone rdio so can't get 5 live. It can't be too expensive for the rights, so you'd think Newstalk or Today Fm, who always go on and on about their Premiership coverage would get the rights rather then leave a big blank in their schedule every FA cup weekend.....and then stick on Phil Cawley who is a plank!

i think for the smaller teams the magic is still there and everyone still loves a giant killing but for the likes of chelsea, utd, arsenal all they want now a days is the league and more importantly now the champions league

Leyton Orient go through to the next round with Paul Jose M'Poku creating the own goal while two other spurs youngsters Tom Carroll and Harry Kane where unused subs

Birmingham 1 - 2 Coventry. Good game on Setanta. Bentley scored an absolute cracker.

Yeah good goal from Bentley. Colin Doyle down the other end is a shocking goalkeeper. I remember him being tipped as Shay Givens succesor years ago.

Played some great games for us in the Championship under Bruce. Other than that, he's never really proved himself. The commentary team on Setanta haven't do their homework at all. Earlier they said he was just signed from Millwall and it's only his second game. They keep referring to him as a "young keeper" as well when he's 25 and even has a full international cap for Ireland
