Not getting points for capturing Domination Points?

I was playing Domination tonight and multiple times I just didn't get the 150 points for capturing the objective, some of these times I was the only person capturing them and other times there were 2 or 3 people capturing them with me. My name would even come up in the top corner saying I captured it. Has anyone experienced/heard anything about this or how to prevent it?

ermm... doesnt the name always come up if you're first to reach the flag ? Even if you die or move off the flag ? I know it did in MW2.

nope, i'm pretty sure if you get killed on the flag it'll show the name of the next guy who was on it, in black ops anyway.

eh, what do you play the game for? Camping in corners in objective games and sticking on level 50 so you don't lose your precious G11? It makes the game fun leveling up and your comment was totally unwarranted and quite frankly, stupid.

It comes up for whoever was the longest at the flag and is there at the end afaik, really don't know why it happened, it happened once to one of my friends but nothing from anyone else, I capture a lot more than them and it seemed to be really inconsistent and I couldn't see anything I was doing differently each time.

id like to think your just having a laugh with the post.....bit harsh otherwise :eek:
anyway op i cant believe you noticed to be honest theres been times i kinda thought i should be doing better than i am on the scoreboard but never went as far as to keep track of my score . must look into it

it's not really hard to notice when a giant +150 doesn't come up in the middle of the screen and it doesn't add to your capture stat on the score, it's like not getting a kill in deathmatch when you kill a guy, would that be fun?

ah i thought it just wasnt showing it on the scoreboard . do you have connection problems at all ?

This was happening all night tonight , right pain in the arse and totally random.

Happened to me countless times last night. I actually captured A, B, C and then A again and i had only been credited with 2 flags. And before people continue with this nonsense that you have to be on the flag from the start i was actually on a flag on my own twice and still did not get the 150.

Happened a few times on Firing Range last night, didnt notice on C flag till lazyfingers said it but I definitely didnt get any when takin B flag :mad:

This is getting very annoying now 3 flags in a row with no points, see at the start i have 2 captures and at the end i still only have 2 captures.

This is happening in Demolition aswell

I think they may have put it in Demo to stop boosting.

Basically if you plant the bomb, then it gets diffused, and you plant immediately after, you won't get the points

I got seven plants in one game last night, and only 3 of them registered

i find it tends to happen more when there is not much time between taking them, like if you take 2 or 3 in a row with not much action in between, really annoying especially when there's contracts for finishing top or in top 3 in Dom and you lose them because you didn't get the points for that
