Hello, I have a substantial sum of money that I will be using to do some renovations. I would like to earn even a little interest on it. It is about 50k, I will begin using it in about 2 months at 10k a month. What is the best thing for me to do with this, currently it is sitting in e-trade, thank you.

    I suggest a mixture of KBC @ 3 month term @ 3.03% and Nationwide UK @ instant access @ 3%.

Prize bonds are run by the NTMA, the money is invested in the national debt. There is a 40% chance that Ireland will default according to the Credit default Swap market. Don't touch any NTMA savings products.

You might not get a chance to use it!
