i watched a fella on tv one night lamping kangaroos. but this wasnt any sport involved just pure killing so i dont know would that interest you.
he'd a big spot on the jeep that he could move with a handle and stop the jeep and take the shot out the front of the jeep.

not very sporting since about 5 kangaroos stopped in the beam of the light

They have a serious problem with non-native vermin brought in by the "white" man - so everything from fox to camels are fair game. Razor backs and Water buffalo are also on the menu:)

Right hardy boys out them parts, Control feral pigs by running them down with dogs then cutting their throats with a bowie knife. See http://www.boardogs.com/ for more details. In the northern territories it's common to have scrub bulls, ie feral cattle which have escaped ranches. These are usually stalked down, similar with feral water buffalo and bateng. Camel, rabbits and foxes are also huge pests. The camel problem numbers about 1 million head roaming the outback. I'd say there's plenty of hunting below, you'll have to go off the beaten track to find it.
