Has anyone worked or knows anyone who works/ has worked there?
    I'm thinking of applying.

It just seems strange that in times like these, they are consistently looking for workers in all sectors in Kilronan Castle..

I'm not sure how much they would deem suitable for a salary for a senior receptionist with 8 years experience?!?!

    An y advice welcomed?!?!?!:D

Never worked there but word around the camp fire is that it and Lough Rynn Castle (both owned by the same crowd) are[... speculation removed ... ] (cant find any links but I do remember hearing that a while ago).

My cousin got married there in 09,nice Hotel.I was speaking to someone that had been at a wedding there the previous week and they said that the day before the wedding (not my cousins) that bailiffs came in and took all the furniture/cutelry from the Hotel and that management had to borrow furniture and other bits and pieces from another Hotel in Carrick on Shannon to service the wedding.

    [Moderators note:

Please don't speculate. If you have links to published information about the establishment(s), please give them. Otherwise, be more circumspect. There are quite enough examples on this country of businesses getting into difficulty because of nothing more than gossip, and boards.ie doesn't need to be the source of it.

I've let the 2nd paragraph stand for now, because it seems to relate to a specific experience. And note that management were able to service the wedding, no matter where the stuff came from.
