Hey for the last 8 years or so, my sister and I have been arguing over which on of us lost the N64. My mother finally found it last week "safely put away" :D. So I was wondering if anybody could tell me where to go to get games for such an old console. I was looking at EBAY, but I think there is difference between the European and American console; or will cartridges work in both?

I'm sure that this stage there are no shops selling these, so any online places you can suggest for me?

There is indeed a place beside Captain America's on Grafton St. that sells older games, although their N64 collection is quite small, no idea about prices. Worth a look anyway if you're around there.

N64 games are region-locked, so only PAL copies of games will work with your console. Have a look for European or Australian copies of the games you want and you should be fine. :)

Much better is the RAGE on Fade st. They have a really good N64 selection and I think they have some American games too.

Thanks a million, I'll be in town on tuesday, I'll have a look then.

Just have Zelda with it at the moment. Memories!!

When the console was new, the only games we had were Zelda, Mario Kart and Mario 64. So I'll be looking for those two again. Jagle, you were going to name some more - please do, so I'll have an idea what to look out for.

Blast corps was ok at best. I got bored of it quite quickly.

Lylat Wars, D.K. Racing, Rayman 2 and J.F. Gemini are some more great games, definitely worth looking out for.

Rubbish, it was for me the best thing Rare ever did and the best game they made on the N64. Simple but huge amounts of fun and replayability.

Second Blast Corps. And Jet Force Gemini - played it with an emulator not long ago and it hasn't aged too badly.

Mixed opinions on this one but i used to love Body Harvest. Sandbox from DMA before GTA3.

Have to give a mention to Goemon. Excellent platform adventure similiar to Zelda.
You can't go wrong with either of the Banjo's. Excellent alomost perfect platformers.
Space Station Silicon Valley was pretty good too. Puzzler/Platformer with a lot of humour.
Perfect Dark was easily the best shooter of it's time.

Beetle Adventure Racing was, apart from Mario Kart, the best racer.
Still have nearly forty old N64 games in my playroom, haven't played it in a while though.

Conker's Bad Fur Day - especially on multiplayer. I still get fits of laughing at the way the refugees made "Frenchie" noises when you ran.

They sold the console and controllers aswell last time I was there :)

€50 in there would get you a console and a game. Great value.
