South Africa; a good honeymoon destination ?

    Getting married in december, would south africa be a good place to go to on honeymoon, like to go somewhere with some sun and to relax ?

    I know others have a great time there, but I found it hard to relax in SA. I've been to some dodgy places in the world, but I've never felt the pressure to be so aware of your personal security quite like I felt in SA.

    It is a beautiful country however, scenery is super, the vineyards are lovely, great hiking, great weather, nice restaurants.

    Yep, a perfect place for a honeymoon. Though SA is a pretty big place so you'd have to have a better idea as to what you'd want from a holiday (beach? road trip? safari?)
