Saleproof in the future so only buy at rock bottom price.

p.s. 2007 means it's killed by road tax.

Yeah, Its in or around the same tax I am paying at the moment for the 320.
Would love to be able to afford an 08. Not that fussy re mak/badge etc but am looking for leather interior and 5 doors. Any suggestions ? Budget 11k max

My boss had 2... one after the other so I guess he liked them!

Only downside I see is the high road tax on re-sale.

Lovely car. I was planing on importing one from the UK next year (went the bangernomics route recently) but Irish prices seem on a par.
Make sure it is the 170bhp engine and not the old 136 bhp one.
Cracking motor but re-sale will be non existant so be prepared to hang on to it.

Ah I was looking at that one myself. I think the dealer made a mistake initially with the mileage cos it jumped from 60k miles to 100k. However thats nothing for the 2.2 HDi twin turbo 170bhp plant thats in the thing. Just make sure all the bells and whistles work and a service history would be a plus. I can confirm that it came from the UK at some point. I can see the speedo in MPH. Looks like a good one from first glance though.

I would be interested for my Dad but he has enough of 607's. We have a 2003 2.2HDi in SE spec. The €823 tax bill and the 35mpg are too much. Plus, its enourmous; he doesnt need such a large car anymore. The car ticks over perfectly after 127k miles and im pretty confident it would be just as tight after 227k miles if you keep it serviced etc.

Yeah. I noticed the mileage had changed to over 100.000
    Thought I was going mad.
Realy wanted something with no more than 90,000.
It is lovely though. There doesnt seem to many of them arouind

If its something that you are going to hold onto for around 5-7 years then it is the bargain of the century. I wouldnt let the mileage discourage you if it is in decent nick...which I reckon it is.

The 607 is the most underated car in its class. It commands a lot of respect on the road and you'd be happy with the purchase
