    Hi folks,

Bought my console in '06. It was an original console with the 10GB hard drive. It got RROD in March '08 and was fixed.
Warranty is now void and it has RROD again.

My plan now is just to buy a new console but I'm wondering what are general prices like? I'm not interested in a package with games.
I had my games backed up to the 10gb hard drive. I presume I can plug it into even one of the new consoles and it'll work? I have a lot of FIFA data on there!

199 for the 4gb slim model, or 249 for the 250gb one. Either buy a data transfer cable and move your stuff onto the 250gb one, or there's a few video guides on moving the hardware drive into a 4gb model that you could look up.

dont use a data transfer cable!!! EVER!!!

bring your harddrive and a USB flash drive to a mates house and use their console to transfer your save files/arcade games/add ons to ur new console.

make sure you also use the DRM tool on xbox.com to transfer the licences too
