    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum so mods move if needs be.

    The story is my father in law took my car up to slane to get a part for it. Long story short he got caught doing 50 in a 30 zone Twice! Apart from the fact that i'm well pissed off at him as i've never had a point or even a ticket of any sort before.

    Do i have to take the points as he is insurred to drive the car?
    And will my insurrance go up because of the points?

    you send back the ticket(s) saying you werent the driver and naming your old man as the culprit...he gets the points...they arent yours!
