choke keys for 500 pump?

    im waiting for the licences to substitute on me and the fathers guns.im swapping for his mossberg 500 pump.hes got a choke in it since before he got it and has no other chokes or a key.is it easy to come across a set of would it be worth the hassle to get them?

    You should most definitely get the key. I prefer to use chokes that are extended and can be hand tightened or loosened at any time.

    You should always take the choke out, or at least break it free after every shoot.

    If you do not do so, you run the risk of having the choke "freeze" inside of the gun.
