Why in the name of God did Bud Adams just do that?...

Sure why not build up a drama between Vince Young and Fisher, publicly back Fisher, throw Young in front of the bus, then sack Fisher once all the head coaching vacancies in the NFL are filled. Thats at the Al Davis and Matt Millen level of utter stupidity there

John Fox is certainly pleased that Bud Adams waited until now to send Fisher packing. Dumb move.

Vince Young won on this argument. The owner is going to regret this.

Vince Young has won nothing. He is still getting shipped out.
From reading an article or 2 on it seems they both knew he wasn't coming back for 2012 so decided it would be just better off going now instead of having a lame duck season.
    Seems reasonable enough.

Fisher is one of the best coaches in the NFL imo. This is real low life stuff from Bud Adams. Fisher deserved better treatment than this. I'm talking about him being fired at this late stage, much like Gruden got the same treatment from the Bucs. I mean why not respect a guy who has done so much for your team and let him go at the right time so that he can get another coaching job?

There will be serious pressure on a lot of coaches this year. Fisher will be back next, Gruden is expected to be interested in returning next year too and of course Bill Cowher.
