Todays Ibood is an Archos 7 Home Tablet 8GB with Android and 7” Touch Screen for €99 (+€12.50 shipping).

Looks like a good deal as a quick look on amazon.ie shows them going for approx £130+.

Just bought one for an ebook reader.

Bought one on gruupy for about €130 before Christmas. Nice device, little on the slow side, resistive screen ok but not great. Disappointed with the video quality.

Seems to be that low a price for a reason

It's only old Android 1.5, upgrade is not possible. Has no bluetooth and no flash player support so you can't browse some of the internet pages. Most of cell phones would be more useful. The only good thing is the price, but I'd rather spend another couple quids and buy something more advanced

it is actually possible to run 2.1 on it, there's beta firmware out there, not very usable though, there is an active user base and custom firmware. Most useful firmware for it is still 1.5 for the moment

Not disagreeing with anything your saying, the archos 70 would be a better buy but you can still do a lot with this even though its 1.5

This is a lousy tablet, the good one is the Archos 70 which you can get for e50-e100 more.
