    Hi there,
This is my first ever post. I am looking for some help. I'm getting married in 2011/2012 and am looking for a wedding reception venue that's a little 'different' around the Cork/Kerry/Limerick area that isn't too expensive.

Rather than a regular hotel, I'm looking for a country house or boutique hotel or a venue where you can hold a marquee wedding.

Any of the places I have seen could be a runner are crazy expensive or else they aren't big enough to hold a wedding for approx. 175 people

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

I did cupcakes for a wedding here

it was stunning. They had the best weather and the views were stunning. Its a really old manor but the have a marquee linked so that where they had the reception. There is a courtyard linking the areas. I think they also have holiday homes near it so family and friends can stay.
    Good Luck.

    hi there
I am in the same boat. Hoping to get married at the end of this year and would like a venue thats a little different . Was thinking of an art gallery or converted building suitable for a party that can hold about 180 people. Doesnt need to be equiped with anything much as have access to stage builders, light and sound people and internal decorators. Just would like an interesting building in a nice place. For example the converted church in St Johns Square where Daghda dance were based. Not available sadly. So if anyone canthink of somewhere in Limerick or Clare, would love to hear from you. Thx :)
