    Hi im new to this so dunno if im posting in right place and dont know if anyone can help me but.... i have a burn scar since childhood that bothers me more now that im older and is a major issue for me now, does anyone know if any kind of medical cover would cover an elective operation to get a skin graft or would i have to pay for it myself if it was my own choice?

    If it's a revision of a previous scar and not purely a cosmetic procedure it'll probably be covered. You will need to check with the insurer directly though as they have certain exclusions and these can vary from insurer to insurer and policy to policy.
