    Hi all,

    I'm looking to from a band. I just have myself at the minute. I sing and play Guitar, Violin, Mandolin, some Lap Steel, Keys and Drums too. But I'd mostly be singing/guitaring/mandolining. It would be good if someone can share the vocal duties (like Toto, The Band & The Stunning/Walls, some songs each). I'm be looking for people to play Guitar/Drums/Bass/Keys/Wind or Brass, Something a bit different maybe, Percussion. Someone with a Trad background could be cool or another style maybe. I'm looking for people who can bounce ideas around and come up with some songs too. I'm hoping to get a band so we can gel together really tight (like the E Street Band, The Bad Seeds or the Heartbreakers). I'm 17 so I think 17 years old. Influences are Springsteen/Tom Waits/Nick Cave/Tom Petty/Aslan/Talking Heads/The Frames/Damien Demspey/Van Morrison/Dylan/Elvis Costello/Republic of Loose/Iggy Pop/Kíla/Thin Lizzy/Bowie/Floyd lot's of 70's and 80's stuff. I'm in between Fairview and Artane on the Malahide Road so it's handy enough to get to. Hopefully we can have some fun :)

    hi, i'm 26.. not too sure if thats out of the bracket for you but i like your description i'm looking for something different for god knows how long.. i play drums and was part of a samba band for 2.5yrs - many years ago though :)

    Hiya, I'm afraid to say I think the age might be a bit out of the bracket. Sorry about that. Thanks for the reply though.
