    Bit random..but

Woodies are selling these bulbs at 5 for €5, pretty good value considering the CFL's can be quite expensive (€6-€10). They've been doing it for a while now... since before xmas, so probably coming to an end soon. Have seen them in woodies in Cavan town and also Louth.

They've got the 60w and 40w, not generally a huge fan of CFL's but I bought them anyway, have to say they're pretty good, light up quickly and are quite bright, good for bathrooms, hallways, table lamps etc.

CFL's are not recommended for bathrooms.

    Good find though.

This offer has been going since July 2010 and has been posted a few times.

The humidty shortens the lifespan of the bulb, and you typically turn on the bathroom light for short periods of time, which isn't great for CFLs either.
