I am buying a non boiler stove and was going to run flexi flue to top of chimney. looking up at the flue pipe there is no room to fit a register plate at all as its very small and akward finish around it, I was wondering if it would be ok to seal around the flexi flue with fireproof type lagging and try and seal up behind the stove itself.
