Got a new car there recently and went with a new insurance provider. They are looking for proof of my no claims bonus but haven't said what they need. Whats the standard procedure? Just give your old insurer a bell to get something sent out?

Also are you entitled to a no claims bonus on a provisional? I just whacked it down online!!

You would have go a no claims bonus certificate from your previous insurer provided you had no claims. send this to your new insurer. If you have no previous insurer or or the number of years does not match the number you entered on line then they wont insure you for the price you quoted ?

Is this your first insurance ?

No this is my 2nd insurer, so I will give the first one a bell and get the no claims certificate.

    Cheers.

It normally comes with your renewal form but if you ring them they will send a copy.
