I have a SPA-3000 2.0.13(GWg) for years now in the drawer and would like to get it going.

I have an eircom PSTN line and wireless internet (not 3g).

I have a 3 handset dect phone from which Id like to use the following options without any special button presses.

Local to PSTN or Voip if cheaper
National to PSTN or Voip if cheaper
Mobile to PSTN or Voip if cheaper
    International to Voip
    Skype to VOIP

Incomming web calls and PSTN calls to Dect Phones.

I looked at the web interface and there are hundreds od settings but which are relevant.

What are the best providers for this unit.
Can I connect to skype and similar services with this unit.
Where can I get later firmware.

You can setup your ATA to call your phones, you will require an SIP account from a VoIP provider such as blueface.ie. top it up €5 and use the password and username and sip.blueface.ie as your settings. If you go to the blueface.ie site all the settings are there!

The ATA can be setup so it is actually like your eircom phone, no special buttons or anything.

It should be setup like this:
    Modem>router>ata>dect phone.

It is not hard to set it up.

I'm not sure of the ports on an SPA3000 but my guess is that the setup will be something like the image below. The hardest part is likely to be your dialplan. I use a VoIP supplier called Rynga.com and I get free calls to Ireland and all over Europe. Therefore, my dialplan is setup to use my PSTN for 1800 Irish Call, 999 and 10 for Operator
