    Hi guys.

Looking for some information on immediate physiological responses from walking briskly, and the recovery processes that take place when you stop. ie cardio respiratory responses, energy systems, lactic acid and fibre types.

Any info or a point in the right direction for websites would be brilliant, thanks.

I'm guessing that any comprehensive physiology book would have this info. For energy systems and lactic acid in more depth, you'd need a good biochemistry book.
