If it's a brand new TV model with new codes, the codes won't be in your remote because the designers at Sky aren't clairvoyant.

However, if you are lucky, Toshiba may have used the codes from an earlier Toshiba model. First you need to know which revision Sky remote you have.

Try some of the Toshiba codes here:

I've had trouble with a new Toshiba TV recently. I think the general Toshiba code is 0156. So first you hold down Select and the red button until the LED flashes twice. Then you press the TV button on the Sky remote. Then enter the code, 0156. If the LED flashes twice the code was accepted. Then press TV again. Now press the standby button to see if the TV goes off.

Now I did this and it does work. But for some reason it stops working soon after, as if the remote forgets the code. Very annoying but it might work for you.

    Loose battery connection.
    Corroded battery connection.

    you dont need a code

    1.press t.v
2.hold t.v and red button untill the red light flashes twice on sky remote
3.then keep pressing t.v and the standby button simultaneosly when t.v turns off press the select button to store the code

works on all t.vs theres no need for a code

    :D
