When i apply for my test and tick the cancellation box, plus send a letter from work...how long would i possibly be waiting to be called for my test?

It can vary alot. Anything from two weeks to six weeks. You will usually get ABOUT one weeks notice. If you are really in a hurry, send it in then call them to check after two weeks.
