Steady now, it only has 20 megadrive games.
30 'interactive' sports and fitness games.
    Great for kids I'd imagine.

I think it's worth noting this isn't the "real"/original megadrive. Which is the only reason I can think of that someone would want one of these over the Xbox disc someone mentioned above. If you don't have an Xbox I suppose.. :p

very tempting, don't have an xbox and I still don't fancy letting the kids near the PS2.

yeah I re-bought (traded in for that gamestop €30 trade in offer last year) the megadrive collection last week for €18 in HMV so will probably be giving this a miss :)

I think the thing with these machines also is that you can't save your progress on any of the games...

I got one of these as a gift for Christmas. They were selling them in Dunnes for 40 euro. Steer well clear is my advice. Seems like a great little system, but be aware of these features.

    - It has no audio
    - Does not work with a scart adapter
    - Visuals for all the Sega games are blurry / jumpy
    - The device itself needs 4 x Double A batteries
    - Controllers need 2 x Triple A's

Cheap tat really. You get what you pay for! You have been warned!

(Maybe I just got a lemon though, who knows)

I bought one earlier , wish i had seen your post though , probably would have put me off buying it . Im not a serious gamer so it might be okay for me and kids. Description says it has an adaptor , so hopefully it isnt just powered by battteries.

Ah, Road Rash with the Bro in the early 90's.

Two of us, atop our motorcycles, whipping eachother with chains.

    Terrible graphics, great game.

It requires both a plug in adapter and the batteries as the controllers are wireless.

As you say though, the kids might be delighted with it! Hopefully the sound works on your one, the soundtracks to these games are an absolute must.
