Lifespan for Air Tightmembranes

What do you guys think the average life span for air tight membranes & tapes are ? What brought this question to my mind is in my build the current hot/cold weather pattern is causing a bit of hassle, with condensation forming on surfaces and causing the tape to come unstuck in spots. Hopefully these conditions wont occur…

What do you guys think the average life span for air tight membranes & tapes are ? What brought this question to my mind is in my build the current hot/cold weather pattern is causing a bit of hassle, with condensation forming on surfaces and causing the tape to come unstuck in spots.

Hopefully these conditions wont occur when its finished, but it does make me think of how it might perform down the road and how much hassle it would be to replace it, not to mention the plummeting energy rating of the house and the performance impact on the hrv.
