IADT make up for film and theater??

    Hi, im interested in doing make up for film and theater in IADT at some stage, but i will need to do a portfolio somewhere! Has anyone done the make up course in IADT, if so which portfolio did you do and where? becuase i was in one before which i wont name..was excellent but didnt help me much on what i should do for a make up course! any info would be great, thanks guys :)

    I don't do this course but one of my housemates does and she seemed to have a mostly fine-art based portfolio with a small range of photos of different looks she's done so i'd personally recommend just doing a general art & design course. I did a PLC in art & design last year and made an animation portfolio- The tutors are usually really helpful with helping you customise your portfolio to suit the particular area you want to study in.
