    Hi,
Just noticed this poll on one of the regional papers websites today:
    http://www.mayonews.ie/index.php?option=com_apoll&view=apoll&task=view&id=43:-how-are-you-planning-to-vote-
Interesting as it goes against the more national polls (FF have the biggest share of the votes on it)
I know each and every poll has its flaws, and online polls more than most (due to the demographics of those that are online) however I was wondering if there are similar polls on other regional sites which may mirror that of the mayonews one, rather than the national polls which have shown FF as being decimated.
Also, on the subject of polls, which ones historically would be closest to the election outcome?

I imagine most regional news papers online polls are easily rigged for repeat votes by script.

    Just saying thats all.

Speaking of polls, there will be a RedC poll for the Sunday Business Post this coming weekend.

Fieldwork for the poll is being conducted tonight and tomorrow.

Aye, they rang me about 8pm, lots of Q's about voting intentions obv, but an interesting set on Gilmore v Kenny on who's more trustworthy, leader like etc etc.

Frankly I expected FG support to be more unanimous than that in the heart of Kennyland.

This poll is very unreliable, its only been running for 12 hours on a website which gets very few hits, when I added my vote that party increased 1%, currently FG are racing ahead,

I would expect a more reliable Poll for Mayo to give 55-60% to FG with 15% to each of FF and SF, Lab maybe 5% and the remainder to independents

There is only one poll that really matters.

    The rest are fluff.

Mayo will be 4 FG one FF (Calleary)

FG managed to get 3 TD elected in 2007 on the back of a chance that Kenny would be Taoiseach.
