I stay in corners with a silenced ak47 with ghost pro in demolition just going for kills. My kill streaks set to Rc-xd, door gunner and dogs.

No, but seriously you're putting yourself at a disadvantage if you're listening to music and playing a game. You can't study watching tv (Oh how I've tried) and you can't play Cod or most games at your best with a sense down.

Has to be the most overused song on youtube. Every second montage had it. Not so much anymore thou.

This when im playing a wager match this, it lasts about as long as a match. Starts at 1 minute and finished around 6 minutes in.

Get yourself A mic/proper headset if on PS3,

Get a few of your mates, or a few of the boards lads into a game.

An have a laugh. Much better than music.

I don't listen to music while I'm playin cause too busy talking with the lads having a laugh.. Most nights we have great craic..

Much better than distracting yourself with music.

as per the rest of the posts before me ...

dont know how anyone can listen to music while playing any multiplayer game ...

saying that .. i use to stay up until all hours playing MW1 and Killzone 2 in silence ... didnt want to wake up the rest of the house when you realise its 4am and you should have gone to bed ...

i actually thought it gave me a slight edge in that you would be wating the screen & mini maps alot more ... so you were always waiting for an enemy player to appear and be ready to gun them down

There was a thread about this before, i think the general consensus was to get a headset.

The boards banter is way better than any music

Plus I tend to sing a lot

Only games I'll listen to music while playing are RTS's like Dawn of War, or Left 4 Dead.

Like others said, it'll put you at a disadvantage in games like CoD, and particularly in modes like SnD, where audio can be the key.

I made the exact same thread about 6 months ago, most people agreed that headset > music.

But if I did, this would definitely be played (was in Hope V's montage a while back)
