No just call them and have the Xbox to hand cos you'll need the serial number etc.

    Hilarious.

What surprised me was the fact that they sorted you out?
You yourself called them M$. :P
Do they hand out these out of warranty consoles all the time?

well I don't know if they hand them out willy nilly but a friend had a launch console and he returned it last year, they gave him a brand new console and 3 months gold membership for his troubles.

Once they didnt smell the mother board I was sorted cos if they did all they would have got was the smell of stale p1ss

Although normally water damage isn't covered under warrantys (as far as i know)
Let it dry for a day or two then maybe try again

Man you were lucky.... my most annoying moment was when MW2 was released....

Stood in the rain outside smyths fonthill.... i rushed through the doors to get me a copy. Home at 12.15am i booted up and played until 3am...

Following day finished work home at 6pm washed and fed 7pm and on with mw2.... about 1hour in my better half spills he tea on her self and comes running through the double doors dividing kitchen/sitting room and manages to knock my xbox over....

No warranty on the xbox and my brand new cod scraped and unplayable
