    Hi posting this for my friend.

    Could anyone suggest any places where they who could get an outfit for a wedding (around size 16-18).

    She is in their 20's and is hoping to avoid the high street stores like Debenhams Monsoon etc as it is going to be a very large wedding and they are concerned that someone else will be wearing the same thing!:) It is a wedding of her brother so she is willing to spend €200- €300.


    Any help is very much appreciated.

    Hi,

    I'd try Pamela Scott in Mahon Point s.c, they sometimes have beautiful dresses in...not sure about their stock at the moment though. Maybe ye could try Quills aswell, ye could be lucky in there. Or other dress shops like Fran & Jane, Monica Johns etc.

    If your friend is looking for something unusual & not high streetish, i'd start looking in towns & suburbs outside of cork city. Dunmanway, Macroom, Bandon, Midleton etc. have some fab boutiques with gorgeous dresses & usually have a good stock of every size.
