    Hi All,

I have a services contract with specified charges which was signed for 2 years ago + has another 1.5years validity with a state body.

Now there are new people in charge who would like to meet me to discuss expenditure.

    My q is
    1) Can they force me to reduce rates further(which are very low already and barely covering labour costs etc) even though the rate is signed off in the contract which has 1.5 years to run?

any advice from thoe in the know would be appreciated.

This is a business to business contract negotiation? In which case you are not a consumer, and this is not a consumer issue. If your contract is being re-negotiated, then you need a solicitor, or someone that is capable in contract negotiation. No one here can tell you how it will go, or what can be done, because we don't know what's in your contract. Most contracts have a clause that will allow for re-negotiation.
