Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise me.... I have a Colt 1911 co2 6mths old that has started to give me problems.
It fires 2-3 bbs then vents all the co2.
    anyone know what causes this?
    cheers

You may be tightening the CO2 cartridge in too much, did it with mine. when you screw the cap in screw it just until you ear the hiss of the CO2 cartridge being punctured

a sticking knocker valve? remedy, a €5 valve.

Have you recently lubed the striker valve? If not, it can pay to...just make sure you only use 100% pure silicone oil, and preferably the one sold in Airsoft stores - the Lidl silicone oil is a little too thick for this purpose, and causes the valve to stick. So if you have lubed it, what did you use to do so?

But yeah, as Thermo said, a replacement valve is probably the easiest and most cost effective solution
