Why soccer fans watch with no shirt on

Anyone here have any good explanation why some fans decide to take their shirt off to watch a game. You see them on tv even in the middle of winter. Is it just to be seen as "macho" or what?

Does this happen in other countries or just in England and when did it start?

Because their pendulous bitch tits are big enough to keep them warm.

So they can ware a clean shirt to the pub afterwards?

Because they want to and are not aware that their actions have to be OK'd by a watching TV audience, half of whom probably don't even know where the ground is.

Their hardened nipples get them all hot, which in turn keeps them warm. And man horny I'd guess.

    This.

Clearly you can't get into a pub not wearing any top, so removing one's top at a match serves to send a message to these ba***rds.

Because a bare chest is always "this season's".

What would be the point of getting a crest tattood accross your chest/back if you cant show it off at a match?

I'm taking a wild guess that drink may sometimes be involved.

Why soccer fans watch their clubs on TV?
Why soccer fans watch with inflatable hammers in hand?
Why soccer fans ask Monty Pyton for the Meaning of Life?
    Why soccer fans watch soccer?
Why soccer fans watch the blue sky with no shirt on?

Many questions to be answered OP.

The human species is one of the most peciular on this very planet we live in.
Here we see a group of males huddled together in what appears to be a male bonding experience. Their joyous mood has increased heart pressure levels. They have disengaged their garments whether to cool down or a show of male bravado amongst its peers is just another mystery for this universe to ponder.

Believe it or not I asked a genuine question, and by the way nobody is forced to read or post in any thread. We can all make our own choices ;)

Then you are an armchair supporter?

But why would anyone even bring it up in this thread? Clearly just looking for a bite/start an argument.

Edit: I realise I should probably contribute some more

Generally alcohol plays a huge part in it, unless they are mad like the Geordies/South Americans.

Nah nah, I am talking about the whole barstooler argument, yours was a decent question.

    Edit: Too late >.<

Anybody stop to consider that these poor unfortunates were probably mugged on way in ( at turnstiles ), and then say "sure take the shirt off me back"

It's the naked attention seeking version of dressing up in leprechaun outfits (and the like).

It happens in other countries too. I was at the Madrid derby a couple of weeks ago and there were a few bare-chested ultras around the place. I've seen it plenty of times on tv in Serie A or other European leagues too.
