Portable PA System

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm in the market for a portable pa system. I'm part of a performance group and we need a system that can take 2 wireless microphones, acoustic guitar and keyboards. The less wires the better! It also needs to be easy to use and quick to set up. Are there any bricks and mortar shops where I can talk to someone and try out a few systems? I've been looking on the web and came across this one

The Yamaha Stagepass systems are great and might suite your needs. Where bouts are you based and we could recmomend a shop near you. A few music shops around the country have PA sections for you to get advice and hear the systems.

This shop is in dublin, on the southside and theres never a problem trying out the gear.

I use the Bose L1 as my main PA system and it is perfect for small to medium sized venues

Thanks Population. I just saw a Bose L1 in adverts.ie for €1,100. It's a bit our of my price range. Am considering the stagepas 300 or 500. Xmusic have them cheaper than Thomann at the moment.

Any more suggestions would be welcome.

Just saw this thread before posting a similar question.
I'm also on the lookout for a portable PA system for pub gigs and the stagepas300 seems to fit the bill.

Would love to hear from anyone that uses one. Are they enough for a small pub gig?

Oh and xmusic were doing 10% off everything last week too...!!..maybe time to buy!
